Good news for SID & the South East!
As the result of a successful bid to the Big Lottery under its BASIS round, SID is delighted to have received funding to undertake a three year project 2009/2012, entitled INDI South East. To herald the new project a logo, based on SID’s own one has been designed and new team members have already started in depth research on the region.
The aim of the project is to establish an infrastructure body for organisations providing disability information in the South East of England. The project aims to provide a focus for networking, create stronger links between organisations and local authorities, and raise awareness within other region-wide infrastructure bodies of the key issues affecting disability organisations in the voluntary sector.
SID will be posting monthly updates on the activities of the project and its achievements on the website. For more information about the project or to find out how to take part contact the Project Co-ordinator via the INDI contact form.
