The PWI is a non religious, non political and non profit organisation which was set up in 2006. Run by a group of volunteers they aim to work towards a better life for Iranian women and their families. They are administered by a volunteer board of directors consisting of three memebrs elected at AGM's. Main aims - increase awareness of Farsi language and Iranian culture, encourage a healthy life style, create a cultural space for artisitc and creative exchange, esp. for children and young people and encourage youth participation to create a collective and social sense.
